EVC-1181S超低音扬声器包括一个18“低频变换器，位于最佳通风外壳中，用于补充8,12和15英寸全系列EVC系统，包括EVC-1122 / VI可变强度扬声器。与其他EVC型号一样，EVC-1181S超低音扬声器的设计和使用也适用于使用其他EV-Innovation扬声器（EVU，EVF，EVH，EVA）的系统。EVC-1181S没有内置无源分频器，适合的有源低通滤波器和四阶巴特沃斯系统高通滤波器的正确操作EVC系列对于许多固定安装应用来说是极具成本效益的解决方案，外壳由15毫米胶合板制成，并配有EVCoat以增强耐用性。EV-1181S超低音扬声器设计用于从多个M10吊装点进行地面安装或悬挂，所有EVC系列扬声器均可接受高达10 AWG的线规，输入面板还可选配NL4型连接器或者天候化的腺体坚果。对于70V / 100V的操作，输入面板具有用于安装EV高品质TK-150音频变压器的内部连接板。在EVC-1181S输入面板上增加一个TK-150可以使电动汽车获得专利的自动饱和补偿（ASC），该功能可保持低频性能，同时向放大器提供稳定的负载，而不管并联多少个扬声器。这样可以在70V / 100V驱动通道上驱动多个EVC-1181S超低音扬声器，同时仍然可以提供丰富的低音响应。
