XLE181采用两分频设计，一个8“钕磁体中低频驱动器，两个2"音圈钕磁体压缩驱动器，前端连接两个Hydra平面波发声器，合成120° x 10°波导。XLE181可使用双功模式，或者使用内置的高级无源分频网络实现单功模式。
