XLD281采用三分频设计,使用覆盖控制技术(CCT)将水平覆盖持续控制至250Hz。XLD281使用一个8“钕磁体低频驱动器及一个8“钕磁体中低频驱动器,两个2"音圈钕磁体压缩驱动器,前端连接两个Hydra平面波发声器,合成120° x 10°波导。XLD281可使用三功模式,或者使用内置的高级无源分频网络实现双功放模式。
